Getting into Annapolis

It was easier than I imagined. I took the competitive exams from both Senator Moore and Congressman Victor Wickersham and then received not one, but two appointments to Annapolis. The one I wound up accepting was from Victor Wickersham; he knew my father and wanted his name on my nomination, which I appreciated.
