Leticia’s father, Dr. Amílcar Escobedo, is literally a self-made man. He was studying for a business career when he realized that he wanted more than anything else to be a medical doctor. So at great personal sacrifice, he endured the long course of studies leading to becoming an internist. Since that time he has led a most satisfying career in medicine, attending to hundreds of thousands of patients. He is still a wise counselor to our family.
